On October 21st, Caligoo has been the recipient of the Unindustria Reggio Emilia’s Digital Award 2019, together with Webranking and Kaiti, two other companies based on the local territory.
The Digital Award is an initiative organized by the Digital Club of the Reggio Emilia’s entrepreneurship association. It aims at the promotion of local companies which have been adopting the most innovative technological solutions to address the challenges of today’s market. This year, 20 companies were selected to take part to the competition. Teams had to present their success case in front of the audience throughout a series of 5 different events, which took place between March and October 2019.
Caligoo’s Co-founder and CEO Giovanni Guerri discussed a recent case developed for Intesa San Paolo, one of the most important Italian banking institute. The intervention was presented under the title “Proximity Marketing for Retail Banking” and analyzed Caligoo’s technology positive impact on the bank’s customer services and marketing strategy.
The award ceremony took place mid-October at Reggio Emilia’s Tecnopolo. It also entailed a series of lectures by experts and researchers in the IT field at an international level, such as Walter Ganz from the Frauenhofer Institute in Stuttgart and Cosimo Accoto from the MIT in Boston. Guests focused on the theme of artificial intelligence and its many applications across different industries from a variety of perspectives.
